Are they as versatile as regular braids? Will I still be able to wear my hair up, or will I have to worry about something showing?

Thanks!

I've never heard of tree braids... do you have a pic. They may be called something else in my area. Some hairstyles get lost in translation from area to areaLOL

It depends on which ones you get. I had the ones which are small cornrows to the back and they leave out strands of the hair to give the illusion of a full head of hair. But I have saw individual braids with strands of hair left out and they call these tree braids as well. With the type I had I couldnt wear my hair up because you saw the cornrows in the back, but then again you could get individual braids in the back if you want to wear your hair in high ponytail. The ones that I got i wore my hair up alot. I have pictures also that I could show you if you wanted. If the whole hair is in single braids then it should be no problem.

I know I'm coming back to this thread a little late, but yes I'd like pictures. =D

I don't like the way my hair looks when I braid some of it and leave the rest out, because the braided part is at least 10" long. (I didn't wanna leave any of my real hair out.) So I'm considering tree braids.
