I finally figured out what is holding me back from transitioning again. Its my support network....now I dont mean you ladies at LHCF because you got support down packed. Im talking about physically being there for me. As in come over and help me detangle this mess before I relax it again support. I thought I had it from KEY people in my life when in actuality they dont want to give it. They all say "why go natural if you are just going to perm again?" They all want healthy hair as long as I keep relaxing it. I guess coming from a collectivist culture where needing that support and acknowledgement mean alot doesn't help when it comes to this. :(
Just thought I'd vent. It gets to me at times.....

awwwwwwwwwww big hug. dont cast your pearls to the pigs. translation sometimes you have to keep things that you find valuable (like going natural) nobody around me was supportive my 1st time around

Totally true...

When you go it alone you are forced to face all the hair challenges. Therefore, you learn so much from mistakes and others mistakes. You'll learn better ways to detangle, better ways to wash and style, etc., etc.

I didn't tell a soul, they started guessing after awhile. By then, my mind was made up and I was applying all I had learned here at LHCF to my personal haircare and transition. I couldn't have made a better choice.

 Keep your head up girl....

I agree with everything Onepraying and MsPortugal had to say. This happens to so many women, shoot I still have people asking me "why did you do that?" and I have been natural for 5 months now. If you ever feel like trying again I say keep it to yourself and go about your business.
