I know everybody has a different growth rate and also a different retention rate. I just want to know how long did it take you to get your natural hair to APL?

I just voted to see the poll results. I'm at 16 months post right now. I suspect I need about 4 more inches so I should be there by 2 years post.

I was scraping APL at 18 months post, but claimed it at 19 months post.

ETA: I'm not transitioning anymore, though... lol. Sorry about that! But I did transition for 12 months.

Well i never LT i just BCed. But i am probably going to LT this time.

Anyway it took my hair hair 15m post bc to get to APL, and im BSL now(not natural anymore) so that means it took me about 25 months to get from BC(maybe 1in of hair) to BSL.

Sooo that means i will have to wait another 25 months for my natural hair to hit BSL:perplexed I guess that is when i will BC..then again i might not ever BC or maybe i will just BC when i hit my ULTIMATE GOAL aka TBL:spinning:

I am DCing around Christmas this year and I HOPE (PRAY, WISH AND THINK) I will be APL. I will be 28months post. I could be there now but I dont know b/c I still have relaxed ends.

Dang, I feel sooo far behind. I'm 19 months post (just cut the last of my relaxed ends off last month) and just now about to make SL. I'm hoping to be APL by the fall, so at around 2 years post.
