I just wanted to shout you out and let everyone know that you are truly the hair color guru... and i don't care what you say

! I got the colourshines in ginger and it looks beautiful in the sunlight. I can even see it when I am under direct light and it came out just like you said it would. I wish I could be bold enough as to dye my hair but since i've finally taken care of it and it is pretty healthy, I don't think i could stomach any problems right now.
But again, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANKKKK YOOOUUUUUU!!!

If it weren't for you, i'd still be a "blackhead".

SO happy for you. How ya feelin' about that bling?

Your hair's pretty shiny without it - so it must be GLEAMING without it.....

So glad it worked out for you! I might have to pick some of that up.......what kind of color did it end up as in the sunlight? where can colorshines be purchases?

It's a medium brown... kind of with reddish undertones. The guru can describe it better

. When it was applied to my hair, the stylist added 2 the mix clear colourshines and a deep conditioner. She than sat me under the dryer for 45 minutes. I don't know if this aided the process in anyway, i just thought you should know that. You can purchase the colourshines at fine bss stores (i would presume a place like sallys) but i actually saw it in this rinkadink one in co-op city for $25.00. It looked used so there it stayed. LOL
p.s. check out brownrelaxedhair's photos, it came out very similar to that.

Does this Colorshines have any colors in the Plum/burgundy family?

CaramelHonee, did you get it from Sally's in Bay Plaza (I live in co op city

Pepperane it is not at Sally's (at least the one in Bay plaza) take the 12 bus to Fordham road and those BSS have it. My hairdresser told me that semi permanants can't change color but only leave a tint. So yeasterday I got a relaxer and some Affirm Color (60 and 6RO I think) and my hair is definitely magenta/burgandy colored(and I cna't stand it). Sure it is not as obvious as a permenant color but it is definitely noticable. SO why couldn't I have tried a lighter brown shade and gotten the same effect (according to my hairdresser)? Something that is obvious but not toally different. And can I change this color ? Thanks

Nevermind, I see it comes in BLACK ORCHID.... where can order it online?

If you live in NY, you should try to pick it up at the bss. And it's a semi-permanent, i don't really know how long they last but i do know it'll last way longer than 1 shampoo... LOL>

LOL! Good. I read on the site that it was temporary. I've always known temporary to mean 1 shampoo. Glad it's a semi!

Cutebajan...I saw it today on my lunch hour in a beauty store by my job. I saw it before and never paid it any mind...its by Sebastians. They have a red color but being that my hair is already in the red/plum family I figured I would use that to give it a bump up.

But I have been so partial to Jazzing (Cherry Cola and Fushia Plum mix) that I am not sure. I have some semi-perm highlights but that was done with a special mix colors on the Framesi line (salon called Luxe Studios did it) I loved it but it seems to wear away too fast for my taste. I like it bright
