I don't have the dryer but I have the flat iron. I know this isn't the info you want but in one of those magazines they did a study with this and Conair's tourmaline dryer. They said the results were the same and don't waist your money. On makeupalley's hair forum they say the same thing. My advice would be to get the conair and see if you like that first, it's only about 40 dollars at Wal-mart and on conair's website. Http://www.conair.com

I have it and I am very pleased with it. With my regular hair dryer, I felt like my hair was zapped of moisture and dry feeling. With the T3, my hair feels softer and as if more moisture was retained in the hair during the blowdrying process. It feels as if I airdried, not blowdried. I am very pleased with it for blowing out roots from a rollerset as well. It is definitely a good investment in my opinion. I have a couple of the flatirons as well and they are excellent. T3 products are working for me! :)

Yeah that how my hair felt. When Im near touch up time and my hair is extra pufftastic, I run it thru my hair after a rollerset and it always looks like it zapped the shine

Ma - I'm thinking about it too. I went onto www.folica.com and read the reviews. People seem pretty happy with the blow dryer. The flat irons are getting mixed reviews.

I'm about to win one off ebay (the dryer and the diffuser = $101). I'll let'cha know.

Be carefurl with those! T3 doesn't validate their warranties from no where online except beauty.com and sephora.com.

I know you will end up paying more, but they offer a 4 year warranty! It anything breaks they will replace it free to you!

Personally, I would pay that every 60 dollars for that peice of mind...

Thanks for the heads up. Where did you find a t3 for $160? Did you get the evolution (83808) or the featherweight (83888)?

Oh! I was speaking of the flat iron. But the same rule about their warranty applies to their dryers too. I know with beauty.com you get free shipping with 60 dollars or more and 10 bucks off anything over 100 bucks. I think you may get more off seeing how much those things cost! They always have sales ad onlien coupons!

Do you have a tourmaline flat iron?

I bought the Chi Ulta - it's a 1" tourmaline cermaic flat iron (they sell 'em at ulta; www.ulta.com). Anyone, after pulling the tourmaline flat iron through my head - first, I'm a natural (about bra strap length) - it got my entire head flat ironed in a matter of 45 minutes. Unheard of!! Second, it didn't frizz up 4 hours later. And third, my hair was soft and silky...well conditioned. It didn't feel like every bit of moisture had been zapped out of my head.

So I went to PlanetBeauty (cuz I live in Cali) and talked to them about the T3 Tourmaline. Of course, they were saying good things, cuz they thought I was going to buy it there (priced at $340...out their damn minds). But what I read on folica was inspiring. So I'm going to give it a try.

Yeah I have the tourmaline iron. My experiences with it aren't as good with the SEDU. If you like your hair to be bone straight this def isn't the iron. Don't get me wrong it does a good job striaghtening but it leaves a little bit more volume and bounce-but that's just my experience. I like it though!

I dunno - it sounds tempting. For me, I'm not looking for BONE straight hair. I'd rather have hair less the kinks with a bit of body - like you're mentioning. I dunno what to do now. :/

Well see, since the iron is 100% pure tourmaline it is supposed to be less damaging. But *I* think the only reason it is less damaging would be because it is lower temps ( for example, it's 300 degrees is lower than sedu's 300 degress). I like the way my hair felt after using it though. I will use this for after I just relaxed so my hair won't be too straight. Whatever you do, you'll be okay. What are you looking for in a iron?

Again, I've got the Chi Ulta - it's ceramic and tourmaline...I don't know the ratios and what not. And I like it - it gets the job done.

I was just wondering if the T3 was a better alternative - I might give it a shot (and if I don't like it, return it) because it sounds like the T3 gets the hair straight without taking all the body out of it.

I just ordered my T3 Evoution hair dryer - I'll post once I use. :)

I was very hesitant at first but I took the $100 plunge. I really do love it. It cut down my drying time, but most of all it reduced my frizz tremendously! My very very thick hair can be completely dry in 20 minutes whereas it used to take me about 45 minutes not including my water break.

I have it and don't use it! I spent a good chunk of $$ on it, and I prefer my ionic blowdryer from Sally's. Of course, I don't actually blowdry my hair anymore...just blowout from the rollersets, etc, and maybe to fix my bangs in the morning.

That being said, when I was blowdrying, it cut down my time by 20 minutes. And it DID leave my hair shinier and less damaged.

I have the Featherweight.

I have the T3 duality flat iron and I am absolutely in love with it!!!!!!!!!!! I used it on half of my hair after a WGO and I can't believe how straight it made my hair. I'm in love!

I have the T3 featherweight dryer (full size and travel) and medium duality flat iron. Luv them both. I don't think I can go back to another.

I lusted after the dryer for a while before I actually bought it. I do love it. I'm hopeless with a hairdryer, but this one makes it relatively easy. And like everyone said, it cuts drying time in half. The thing I really love about it is how light it is. My arms don't get tired anymore.
