Ambrosia on Yonge in Thornhill is cheap. You can take TTC to Yonge and Steeles and then walk (about 10-15mins) they have the BEST prices.
Noah's is usually expensive but they have customer appreciation days once a month.
Also... The Big Carrot on Danforth can be ok for certain things.
