What are the top 3-5 ingredients in your staple moisturizer?

I am searching for a new one, decided to give cantu and vitapointe a rest and I need to know what to look for.

I prefer one without silicones and protein, because alot of other products I use have them in it and I am trying to cut down.

I use Loreal VIVE Smooth Intense Anti-Frizz cream or NTM Silk Touch Leave in.

The Loreal Smooth Intense has Water, cetearyl alcohol, Amodimethicone, cetyl esters as the 1st few ingredients.

The NTM has Water, cyclopentasilozane, dimethicone, behenyl alcohol, and glycerin as the 1st few.

So mine both contain 'cones but no protiens.

Jane Carter Solution Nourish and SHine first 3 ingredients: Shea, illipe and mango butters

Qhemet Biologics Amla and Olive Heavy Cream(use when hair is not out): Castor oil, olive oil and water

It is hard to find good inexpensive products without any silicones, I might give up that search.

Ain't that the truth! If you find one, please share. I currently stick with nexxus headdress, which is very very good, no cones, but it does have protein and is on the higher price end . . .

I think salerm has protein in it...and that stuff is expensive too, although I have been wanting to try.

Salerm does have protein and cones (amodimethicone) and it is kinda on the expensive side . . .

Sassy what about the Cantu leave in? (that you have listed in your sigging?)

I like it very much and the huge bottle is about 5 dollars at walmart. (Iam talking about the Shea butter leave in).

I have that and it has protein in it and cones, for me to use everyday I think that is too much. which is why I was looking for something else. I love my cantu leave-in though, I use it after every wash, and using for an everyday moisturizer would be too much.

Jane Carter is $20 for 4oz but a little goes along way. I have the same jar from the beginning of Apr.

Qhemet Alma & Olive Heavy Cream has caster oil, olive oil, distilled water.
Keracare Moisturizer w/ Jojoba has water, mineral oil, beeswax.
Jane Carter Solution Nourish and Shine has shea, illipe and mango butters.

I use Qhemet Amla and olive heavy cream. I'll just list all the ingreds. since i'm looking right at them.
