Hi ladies,

I've tried the Tangle Teaser and the Denman and I'm noticing that too much of my hair is coming out.

What tool do you use to detangle your hair?

Wide tooth comb for years

#TEAMWIDETOOTHCOMB.
Can't do the denman-I'll be bald.
And I'm not dropping dollars on anything else to experiment.

Start with my fingers, then move on to a wide tooth comb. This is working for me I don't see the need to try anything else.

I use my Tangle Teezer and sometimes my large rake comb.

I make sure to slather lots of great DC in my hair Silk Elements Megasilk, Alter Ego Garlic Conditioner or any of my favorites

In the following order:

Fingers
Ace Detangling Comb
Safety Pin/Needle for small knots

Sent from my iPod Touch using LHCF

Jilbere shower comb from Sally's. It's about $3 and works great, no seams, really wide teeth. I've been using it for a couple years.

I just detangled with my goody ouchless detangling comb. It was my easiest detangling session thus far. I also have a tortoise detangling comb that works pretty well also. I had to file down the seems though, they were so high it would have broke my hair off for sure.

I use the Ouidad Detangler Comb and my Tangle Teezer. I hate to hear that you were losing hair with the TT! I only see shed hair in mine.

my eyesight is not good enough to even think of this.

are u being serious?

ok u dont men SSKs just knots/tangles right:look:

I loved my TT when I first got it. My daughter thought the Goody Ouchless was better with less broken hairs. Today, I combed my hair in the shower with Creme of Nature on and I lost way more hair than I usually do with TT. This is so very frustrating. The best detangler I've ever had was a thick tooth hard rubber comb by ??? It broke years ago and I've never found a suitable replacement. I just want to go back to the hard rubber old stylist comb but the ones they make now are so cheap in quality. Maybe I should break down and buy the buffalo or horn bone comb instead. What used to work doesn't now...it's because of the length.

My fingers, then if I feel like it I may use the Magic Star Jumbo Rake Comb only after I detangle with my fingers first.

Lol!

I cut SSKs unless the knot hasn't tighten but yes, I tease the bigger tangles that comb and fingers can't unravel with pins.

I'm switching to a wide toothed comb. I'm starting to notice that my denman kinda rakes over my tangles and it takes too much effort to detangle my hair, not to mention I don't think all the hair in the brush is shed hair. With a wide toothed comb I see far less hair and have an easier time.
