It starts itching because you're not supposed to scratch it of course  .

I know, it's crazy how that always happens! Whatever you do, resist!

hehehe yeah it does! it drives me nuts. I'm scratching my arm right now wishing it was my scalp I give the scalp gentle rubs every once in a while (you know that don't satisfy though)

I think it's all in the mind, , I normally think of something else to do and it goes away until I realize it's gone and it comes back  , weird, I know. But if I'm suppose to relax the next day I just base my scalp and that helps sooth it.

I was just talking to a co-worker about this today. I really think a lot of it is mental. My head havent itched since my last relaxer. I was going to get it done for a Christmas party and it started itching like crazy the night before. Oh well, I really didnt want to relax just yet anyway.

Oh my gooooodness! I thought this only happens to me. I haven't relaxed since the beginning of August but I don't plan on relaxing until the end of the month (maybe). Maybe I'll do a scalp test to see if it really is mental. I'll go out, by my relaxer and set a date to relax, then see if I have the itchies the night before. I'll let you guys know what happens.

Yeah, I think it is a mental thing too. I used to start of with a light rub, then a light tap, then a couple more taps...and then I found myself slapping my head. Giving myself a headache made no sense, and I think I still irritated my scalp.

Now I oil my scalp a few days before, and it helps with those "itchies".

I can't be slapping myself to a headache either  I DID oil my scalp thursday thinking I would have it all under control (yeah right!!)

This morning was too funny, I woke up with my hand in my head (oh oh) don't know what I was doing up in there but that couldn't have been good. I'm going to relax in about 30 minutes so if y'all hear me yelling, you know I scratched in my sleep
