To trim or not to trim is the question

I have straightened my ahir fro the frist time since christams and see alot of growth. However, my hair is uneven. I was wondering if i shoudl trim again cuz when i did at christams it looked so good. the thing is, I NEVER wear my hair straight and only straighten it to trim or to see length. So does it matter if its uneven. When its curly it looks fine and right now there are no splits and my current goal for the end of 2007 is BSL. Once i reach that i was thinking to even it up then. It jus seems like the hair from the back (nape and sides) is outgrowing the hair from the middle (crown)(if that makes sense). Anyways, heres a pic, its jus the back of my hair, the front half is up in clip, but u can't see it, but its the same length as the back.

A few ladies on the board wait until they reach their goals and then do a light trim. It sounds like your happy with your overall progress and if your comfortable, then wait until later to trim.

i wouldn't trim, i'm sure if i straightened my hair my left side would be longer than my right, but sincei don't straighten my hair whats the use? I Cosign with the other ladies- wait till you reach your goal.

Trim only if it bugs you. Since I've been here I've only trimmed once, and only because my hair tangled horribly. I dust mainly but won't trim to even up my hair because I rarely wear it down.
