Does anyone know where a really good Indian store is?
Or a place I can find shikakai and other herbs?

I always head to Cerritos. There are tons of Cash and Carry shops w/ the Indian products that are talked about on this board. I think it's Artesia Blvd that has all of the Indian shops.

she's right! it's all about cerritos for the indian stores. i'll ask my indian friends for some other recommendations the next time i see her.

I found one on Los Feliz blvd. on the east side of the 5. I can't remember the name but I did a google search for indian markets los angeles.
