how long do you go on average when straight?

Do you have new growth?

If so how many weeks pass before you feel it?

How do you wear your hair during this time?

Do you moisturize?

If so how often and with what?

Do you think you benifit from infrequent washing? How so?

I'm a straightened natural and I used to go more than 2 weeks without washing but not anymore. When I did I'd go between 3-4 weeks without washing but it wasn't something I intended, it just happened. Sometimes I got a lot of new growth, other times I didn't. If I'm honest my scalp started getting irritated after 2 weeks (or less depending on my stress level) hence why I don't go more than 2 weeks without washing. I moisturize with Pantene Relaxed & Natural daily moisturizer and seal Castor Oil which I also lightly use on my scalp. My scalp does better if I wash either once a week or once every 2 weeks.
