What kind of products have you used that did and didn't work wonders on your hair? I don't want to buy another car payment worth of products if they won't work. I am going to post pics soon.

I'm 3c/4a...I keep an eye out for all textures and chemical states on my blog, but my reviews may prove.

Shea butter (mixed or natural) has never failed. Cantu is great when used correctly. And avocado oil. I am also using Jason's Tea tree oil shampoo and Oyin Honey Hemp conditioner with are also great. But I think I will use the Jason conditioner when the honey hemp runs out. I would def. recommend these products.

I think u got to keep buying until you find ones that work. This is the sacrifice you have to make if you want healthy hair. Its frustrating but its worth it. Everyones hair is different even if the person has your texture or type. i purchased anything people raved about in forums and blogs until i found what worked best.i was getting frustrated during my hair journey, thinking maybe people were probably not telling the truth.

You should enjoy experimenting everything!!! if not for the money and the products that will go waste if it did not work.
shea butter will never fail you like kranbery said. i love everything shea. i currently use shea moisture leave in, which is great and jane carter nourish and shine. Highly recommend these two.

Are you relaxed or natural?

Before I BKT'd my hair I was a big fan of Aveda's Damage Remedy line. It is pricey, though. If you go to a Aveda store, not someone just licensed to sell Aveda, (at least at the one in San Luis Obispo) they'll give you a sample to try, that was how I got hooked.

The conditioner I'm using now is Rusk Pro Elements Keratin Smoothing Treatment, it's fantastic!

I'm wearing my hair flat ironed now, when I was wearing it curly my hair lurved coconut oil. :yep:

Creme of Nature didn't work for me, too much build up.

I have nothing near 3a hair...just 4a.

But I wanted to say since you've already tried a bunch of products it may be worth your while to go back through those products and figure out why they didn't work for you (was it because of ingredients? not using it correctly? not using it for enough time? etc.) so that you don't make the same mistakes in choosing new products.
