I am having a case of the itches and can't do nothing but scratch then the conventional way. However, I read somewhere that using your palm was better than your fingers. Is this true and if then why?

I would think that this true because scratching with your palms prevents you from making abrasions to your scalp .

Massage with your fingertips instead of scratching with your fingernails! /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I use a wide-toothed round-tipped comb. It's like have 20 fingers. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Now you have my head itching!
I've read that it's best to scratch (mainly with fingertips) while washing your hair under the shower. It's less damaging on a wet scalp, like a massage.
