Ladies! I don't know what hair type I have just yet (I'm transitioning to natural, and it's been 5 weeks post and counting), but when my hair is wet, it's curly...Like the nape of my neck is like 3c...the middle is 4 something, and the front is 4 something too...I want to do a wash and go (which might turn out to be kinda fly), but I don't know what to use to make my hair dry curly/wavy...Because right now, the front is drying str8, and the middle is drying like an afro, and the back still has the 3c pattern...So most times I just wrap my hair wet...I was thinking of buying some conditioner or shampoo that enhanced the curls...what do you think?

i think for a wash n go u should trie sum leave in condish or moisturizer when i was transitioning and relaxed i always rocked a wash n go

Thanks! My hair isn't that long lol...your's was gorgeous! Is there a technique to doing that? I've tried once...but the front just looked kinda dumb lol...

I have to find something to do with my hair...It's growing..but it's still short...I thought this wash and go would be a good way to stay outta heat world (flat irons and blow dryers)....and I'm trying to stay outta the stylist's chair (less heat), and only go like once a month...and I'm trying (really resisting) the idea of getting braided up (cornrows in the front and individuals in the back)....although it's a good way to transition, I want to know that I can deal with my texture...and it'll be an interesting experience...In like a month and a half, I'm going back home for like 5 days, and I need to look fly! (without braids) *sigh* I have a few weeks to get it right lol

i would co wash and after apply either pink lotion moisturizer, tigi catwalk curls rock leave in moisturizer or garnier fructis leave in conditioner, comb thru from root to tip then scrunch away!! in the first pic i used tigi and in the 2nd garnier fructis. below is pink lotion results too oily and thin for me. but same technique for all products. thanx for the compliment. I recommend Garnier Fructis curl & shine shampoo and conditioner, a leave-in moisturizer, IC Fantasia gel (blue one), and scrunching. You might even twirl a few pieces of hair in the front around your finger to help encourage it to curl.
