Okay girls,

Here are my stats. I just started my healthy hair journey back in June. I began stretching and hiding my hair for the first time in July. I've been co washing 2-4 times per week, and washing 2x per week. I will be stretching and hiding until december. I really really want to color my hair. Is this a good time to do it, or should I not do it at all? I look so cute as a honey blond - at least with some streaks? I don't know. I was thinking that since I'm in the middle of a stress-free period for my hair it would be a safe time to add color, but what do I risk in growth/future growth if I color it? Help me please!!!!

my hair is finally getting back to itself and i too was thinking i would look better with some type of color in my hair, but i read a recent thread about highlights about 3 pages long and all of the women but about 3 said not to color, because they had excessive shedding and the highlights required too much care, moisture and re-coloring of the roots. im too lazy to keep up with that and i definetly don't want 6 months of progress to collapse like a sand castle just cuz i wanna look sunkissed...good luck with ur decision :)
