T'Keyah Crystal Keymáh's book

I've read the book. It's not all that. I'll keep it as a book for my coffee table though. I was disappointed that the book featured only a few pictures of Crystal's hair styles (and not the one on the cover) and mostly depicted natural hairstyles on other hair models. But the hairstyles were not anything that were wow. I don't think the hype was worth the price. I thought she could have done a better job.

This book is on my wishlist. With shipping and handling, the price of the book is a whopping 26.00 dollars!

Girl, your hair is already fabulous. :) I don't know what you would need a book to tell you.

I have it - I use it as a coffee table book as well.

It's good for beginners as far as styling. It breaks down the styles, telling you if you need short, medium, or long hair to achieve it...how difficult it is, etc. She also has a few poems and personal stories about being in the entertainment industry with natural hair. She even signed the front inside cover.

I had the book once upon a time; sold it though. The pictures were nice, but I didn't find it too helpful. Good collector's item or coffee table book, but not very useful.

ITA w the prev posts. I have the book, signed. Nice pics. Good instructions. Good for coffee table. If u r a fan of hers I say get it from curlmart or get a used one from amazon or something otherwise save ur money.

I agree with everything!
