Just got home plugged it in and tried it on a section. I can tell my hair is going to come out poker straight (how I like it) I don't know if they're the same price or even available at your Marhall's but I figured it was worth posting. They also had the ceramic version. Adjustable heat up to 410 degrees. $15.

They are not consistent on type but they always carry fhi irons....i have one(ceramic).....pretty good stuff.....also a blow dryer from them

But anyway is titanium better to use or does it really matter

Yes, from 140-410 degrees

As far as if titanium is better I think it's the preference of the person. One youtuber I watch said that her hair looked better, like salon quality, with titanium by far but that she worried that might be causing her more damage than ceramic. Other people have no complaints. After having done my whole head once I will continue to use the titanium instead of my other iron. I felt like even though both of the irons say they heat up to 410 the titanium one was actually HOT! Maybe my other iron was just old, but it was definitely top quality and top dollar when I bought it. At the time its only other competitor was the Chi, which has since been surpassed by other companies. This titanium iron reminds me of how the marcel stove irons used to straighten my hair when I went to the salon every two weeks.

Titanium gets MUCH hotter than ceramic. It holds the heat different. I had the babyliss pro. i sold it because i wasn't trying to change my curl pattern. Wayy too hot on my natural hair for my liking but if you are planning on being a straight haired natural who never wears her curls, i highly recommend it
