I usually rollerset my hair, but as it gets later in my stretching cycle, I want to try Sylver2's method. (while hair is wet, tie a satin scarf over the front of the head to lay roots down, let the back hang down and just roll the ends of the hair with magnetic rollers) The only thing is that if ALL of my hair is not rolled up all the way to the roots, it will not stay straight. It looks like a Jherri Curl and that is not the desired result!! Any ideas to get it to dry straight?

Maybe you could just tie the scarf over the front eges of your hair... then do a normal rollerset to the hair that is not under the scarf?
