Does anyone else get this feeling on their scalp during growth spurts? I was afraid that I was about to experience some kind of hair loss, but I measured my hair and it's actually growing rapidly. This is after a summer of very slow progress & a major haircut. Maybe my hair is thanking me for getting rid of those raggedy ends!

I get a tingly feeling kinda like something's crawling on my scalp or that someone's gently tugging on my hair in random spots around my head. And sometimes my scalp will just be very sore.

Well Ive noticed something too. I think it has to do with the MSM which is the only thing I added new to my regimen. I see my hairline filling back in and I see new hairs spurting out from my hair line as well. This is really shocking to me because from those same spots were fine little bumps a few weeks back. When I ran my finger across them they were a little hard. After that, I would scratch a little and they would fall off (yes eewww!!!). Now there is hair there

. I discovered it more by feeling. I was rubbing my hair line and felt that friction you feel when it's time to shave your legs. Im like what the hell is this and I go in the bathroom and see all these little new hairs by my hair line. Now Im 35 years old. I can only hope to just grow back my hair line but to see new hair.....Well that just knocked me off my feet

. Needless to say I am extremely happy about it

grows too. Its not bothersome or anything, but I definitly feel it. It happens a lot since I use MSM.

Yes, I experience soreness of my scalp when new hair is growing in. Initially, I thought something was wrong with my scalp, but when I notice I had new hair growing, I dealt with the mild discomfort. The new hair texture is completely straight which is totally different from my 4b/c hair.

I have those feelings too, especially since I started MSM recently. My scalp is very sore and it feels like a bug is crawling across my scalp at times. I hope this sensations are growth spurts!

So that's what that feeling is

. For me, it shows up in different areas of my scalp and feels like my hair is moving by itself. I've been off and on msm for a while now, but I noticed this when I upped my dose. Interesting...

wow ya'll so lucky coz i been takin 1500mg of msm but aint really noticed that much growth or any tingly sensations maybe its the brand i'm usin

Isis, I don't know why my hair is coming out straight, especially in my crown area. I honestly think it's growing back like baby hair. I am taking the standard hair vitamins, which includes biotin (GNC Nourshair), and MSM.

How is it that your hair is coming in straight? Any special vitamins?

I noticed growth spurts and a tingly sensation all over my body when I first started taking MSM. I don't get a tender scalp, just nice hair growing in. It's a trip how it works!
