I am looking for a way to dry my hair under the bonnet without rolling and wraping. I have layers, so my objective is to get it as smooth as possible in my ponytail shape. I almost did it yesterday using clamps and a few rolers on the ends.

If I could use something like a stocking cap, but that wouldn't melt and would allow the hair to dry in in a reasonable time, but hold my hair down tight, I'd be set for my winter, low to no heat styling.

Is there such a thing??? Am I making sense?

Well I use a silk scarf under my bonnet dryer to tie the front down, but I do have to use a 3-5 magnetic rollers on the ends to get them straight. That takes about 30 minutes for me.

Sally's sells a net, nylon scarf made just for tying hair down under a dryer and keeping the rollers in place. :)

You could use a stocking cap as you described or you could use a satin scarf. With sylver2's scarf method, she uses a satin scarf cut in a triangle shape. After you have put all your products on and combed the hair back, tie the scarf on and under your bonnet dryer you go!!:)
