So I have like 8 or 9 of hair products that I'm most likely not going to use any more but it's so HARD throwing them away knowing I spent $$ on it :perplexed, but I know for a fact there not gonna be used because I haven't used them in about 3 months. How do I cope with this? No seriously lol.

Perhaps give them to someone you know would use them? Depending on the amount left in the containers, maybe sell them at a reduced price, or something. There's also a forum here somewhere that you can trade them off, etc. HTH

What kind of products are they? I always try to find a use for a product I won't be using on my hair for something else. Example: shampoo and conditioner that I hate for my hair can be used on my make-up brushes.

I've given/sold products I don't use/like to other people.

Sometimes I'll even try to just suck it up and use the unwanted product until it's gone and then save the containers for homemade products, unless it's damaging my hair instead of helping it. Or if I know I have a product I don't like because of the ingredients (e.g. mineral oil) I will mix a very small amount of it into another similar product I do like. I feel like that makes the "good" product go longer, and the "bad" product is being used up gradually and it's not very effective. It works for me.

If they are conditioners ..have u tried them as a prepoo...

That is what I ended up doing and was able to use up a lot of stuff

I'm going through the same thing. I have 21 bottles of condish I am trying to use up.... Nothing great, just sitting collecting dust. I've been doing alot of prepooing lately!

I have the same problem .. only thing the people I would give them to , won't use them properly and may end up wasting the product. Im just going to keep them and watch them evaporate as the years go by

What products do you want to throw away and why?

GVP K-Pak-doesn't really do much for my hair but I've just been trying to use it up

Chi SI-Well my b/f spilled half the bottle on the counter but my moroccan oil creme does a better job of protecting my hair and now I'm going to start using the argan oil from sally's also

Aphogee Green Tea & Keratin (original treatment)- Too strong for my thin hair..made my hair very hard, took about 2 weeks of DCing to get it back in the right condition

Africa's best Olive Oil DC- since i love the hair mayo and leave in hair mayo and herbal oil, I thought this would be good too. I didn't really like it though just because I've had better DCs.

I have some other products too but I'm not @ my apt right now so I don't know the rest buutt yea, plus I've had much success with the Ion line and wanted to use mostly those products from now on.
