Is there a trick to get it to stay put on wet hair? Whenever I use a scarf for my puff it is always on dry hair, I tried today on wet hair, and I could not get it to act right, any suggestions?

What material is your scarf made of? If it's too silky mine will slip off. My favorite scarves are polyester and sort of gauzy-sheer. Anyhow, I put mine on the front of my hair where you would put a hairband, then I do the first part of tying it (wrapping one end around the other and pulling just tight enough so it stays on my head). Then I push it back a little, then tighten a little, push it back further, so on, until I get it where I want, then I finish the bow or knot. Sometimes I never let go of the ends and just pull back and tighten at the same time (I can't do that on dry hair though-not enough slippage).

i think if youre gonna do it on wet hair it might be easier to use a knee-hi or some cut pantyhose....i cant even imagine trying to get a satin scarf to do all the work of holding my hair back...i cant even get them to tie tightly....for me, the pretty scarf is decoration, but theres something underneath doing the actual puff work.

Thanks BlackCardinal I have some made of different material, I tried it with my lace one though. I knew my satin or silk one would slip, I was hoping the texture on the lace would stop it from slipping.

Thanks Sha, I never thought to try pantyhose or knee-hi's I will try that
