Hey Ladies,

 I am jumping with joy right now because I washed my hair last night and it turned out incredible. I am trying to figure out what in the process i implemented last night made it turn out this way. Here is what i did:
(FYI:I am relaxed by the way)

1. I pre-pooed with a mixture of mayonnaise, olive oil and honey. Left it on for an hour.

2. Washed with Kera care moisturizing shampoo.

3. Deep conditioned with Kera care Humecto. I applied it like a relaxer with a relaxer application brush. Left it on with no heat for an hour.

4. I rinsed the conditioner out and roller set my hair. Also I went on this site Lorraine's tips she suggests rolling the hair upward not under to make the roots tighter and I must say it worked:grin:

5.Motions leave in conditioner and dove intensive moisturizer. amla oil to seal ends.

6. I actually let the roller set airdry instead of getting under the dryer.
( I must say I thought it wouldnt look the same as if I had gotten under the dryer but it was and soooo soft)

So now I am trying to figure out what made it so soft. Was it all of the things I did or just the mayonnaise? or applying conditioner like a relaxer? hmmmmmm :look:

Anyone else tried these things and had the same soft silky results? Also, I must add, my hair never feels this way after a roller set especially not the newgrowth.

i'd say prepooing and then DCing. you had a lot of moisture in there.
