I can't even get through to my new growth. It's so thick and curly and it's not even that long, but I can't even part it enough to get to my scalp or get in good to moisturize it. My head is like a jungle!

I just felt like complaining, lol. I'm thinking my plan of action after this week will be cornrows for spring break, and then a few months of sew-ins. Then I will be ready to chop off those relaxed ends and free this curly insanity :spinning: . It looks like I'm 4a with a couple of sections 3c. But really it would be 4a to the 9835708 power :lachen: cause this hair is not playin. No wonder my mom relaxed me when I was like 6. God bless her. I know ya'll know where I'm comin from

Fantastic you have an action plan! Vent on--it gets rough for us transitioners. :)

Girl, what do you think about 50 weeks of new growth?!

Condition washes have been my salvation--I can't imagine a long transition if I'd been struggling with super dry hair. I wouldn't have made it. My hair is probably similar in texture to yours.

I love my (natural) hair though--it's so thick and pretty. Relaxed hair is going through a bad patch right now (feeling really dry and a little damaged this week (noticing a little breakage on this ends)) so it's giving me the blues. I'll trim an inch or two tonight. Natural hair is happy as a clam.
