this is a really minor question ladies, but i just wanted your opinion.

i am returning from spain in a week, and i wanted to know if i should wait until i return to atlanta area to get a relaxer... or go ahead and get one when i first arrive in viginia. i don't have a stylist that i know and trust in either of these places. but i figure waiting until i get to atlanta may do some good since i "live" in atlanta for school. so if i find a stylist that i like, i can simply continue going back to her for routine touch ups.

what do you think? i'm really scare because this will be my first relaxer in 3 yrs and i am afraid that i will be underprocessed or overprocessed or burned or something.

If I were you, I'd take my time. It's not like you need a touch up. WAIT. I would be really scared too since it's been three years. Don't mess up something beautiful by rushing. Relaxers are forever so choose wisely and don't act out of haste! Good luck though!

If you've gone 3 years without a relaxer, you can (I'm guessing) hold out a little longer. Don't rush to get a relaxer until you find a stylist with whom you are comfortable. If you spend the majority of your time in Atlanta, then get recommendations of stylists there; but wait until you find someone you can TRUST.

I agree with the waiting if you know what to expect in atl. But - wooo! yay you're studying in Spain too? I'm here for a year - I'm an Erasmus student from London - Don't you just love it?! which part of Spain did you go to? I'm leaving in a week too - but I'll come back - desperately want to get my hair relaxed (am natural) and only have a week to decide. Besooos!
p.s I'm in Granada by the way

check out the salon review forum to see if you can find a good one in ATL. and if you find one in va...let me know, lol
