This City's water is AWFUL!

I moved into my apartment this past week in prep for school. Well, I forgot that the water here is TERRIBLE, and Wisconsin already has hard water! As soon as I started showering, my face broke out in eczema, and my hair has been dry and crinkly no matter how much CON or moisturizer I use!
My b/f sees that I'm in utter peril, so we're going to Menards today to get a shower filter. But I'm worried that this will only help part of the problem! AAAHHH!
