what helps you for thinning edges?

I have used ors temple balm and profectiv anti-thinning
cirulation and my edges grew but it took awhile.
I had faster results with nioxin follicle booster it is
the best product I have used for thinning edges.
I think it cost 19.95 but it is worth the bucks to me.

thanks labett. I'll resurrect my nioxin for my edges. I had some cornrows in, now I have to do some emergency treatment for my edges.

I use organic root's temple balm all over the hair line 2 to three times a week and when I wrap my hair at night make sure it covers the hairline well. also to lay the hairs down instead of excessive brushing, I discovered Vonte's silk effects. Really nice, no alcohol, conditioning feel and penetrates to get hair soft and moisturized

I use a homemade concoction of 2 oz. aloe vera gel and 10 drops of rosemary essential oil. It seems to be working well for me. I also sleep on a satin pillowcase with nothing wrapped around my head so that my edges do not get overly rubbed while I sleep.

I'll to agree that nioxin works. I used the cytonutrients(sp?) foam on my edges.

I have been using Hairobics Hair and Scalp Booster and Hairobics Hair and Scalp Leave-In Conditioner since late August 2003. I have seen an improvement in the way my edges and my hair in general look.

nexxus biotin creme is pretty good. it costs $12 for 2oz's my mom has been using it for one month now (inconsistently) and i see good results on her.

nightly massages have helped me, my edges are not a problem per se, but i would like a stronger presence of hair there!

I purchased the nioxin bionutrients shampoo and scalp therapy when it was on sale.
My edges seem to grow a little faster when I used all
nioxins products together.
A lot of ladies on this board stated the scalp therapy
made their hair dry out and did not like it.
MY hair did not dry out and I like it.
I just recently discovered when I use the follicle booster
followed by my profectiv anti-thinning circulation creme
I get a tingly sensation more and my edges grew even faster.

I think you will be pleased with the follicle booster
I combined both because my problem was severe I had thinning
edges and three bald spots in the top of my head from weaves
which has completely grown back and is stronger.
