THINKING OUT LOUD (I MIGHT JUST BE CRAZY ENOUGH TO DO IT)

So I've just now finished reading Tinkin4Gold's thread on how to make a braidout using pieces of satin scarf. Found here: http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?t=460824

I was wondering... would I look crazy to actually do a style like that with my hair being jet black and all?? As in have four corn rows going down the back of my head with the satin strips intertwined. There would be a middle part. And the extras left from the scarf would be made into a bun. The bun would look as if I had did the headwrap style...... What do you think??? It could be worn as a PS in the winter to help keep hair from drying out instead of wearing a hat or an actual head wrap.

OPINIONS PLEASE

That is a beautiful look. I could see keeping the scarves in and doing a pinned up style as long as they are all the same color.

Are you going to do a youtube? I think I know what you mean about the cornrows. I'd say give it a try.

I know I have some ideas now. Need to go and find scarves like that all the same color though.
