this is april -june, i believe it is filling in. any suggestions for protein treatment other than apoghee? something i can use weekly, less scary.

this shows progress in 2007

this shows my 2008 setback plus current state.
the 2008 was due to stress.

...Looks like your hair is doing well. I don't have any suggestions but your hair is awesome!

Your hair is nice. I don't think your ends are that thinner than normal at that length. But maybe a trim will even them out for you and give you more of the blunt look you may want.

And I use the Aphogee 2 minute (not 2 step) weekly before I deep condition. Its been working very well for me.

Have you ever checked out Chicora's fotki? She talks a lot about thickening up her ends on her site, but I think she trims them gradually once she reaches a certain length. I'm considering trying this method. Overall, I think she gives some good advice that might be helpful for your situation, and she has beautiful hair that proves that her techniques work. Good luck!

Henna. it's protein. You can always do the eggs and mayo, but I like my henna. You can get baq (body art quality) from fnol ( www.fromnaturewithlove ) or (www.menhandi.com) you can also get the cassia which gives you all the protein benefits of henna with no color. You can also use coconut oil to seal your ends AFTER wetting them with water. coconut oil is known for it's proteins binding to the hair shaft. Hth!

Well I would tell you to trim your ends gradually as your hair grows. :) Your hair is lovely though.

A good protein treatment that you could use is Motions CPR Protein Reconstructor, I would use this every 14 days though instead of every 7 days and alternate with a good moisturizing conditioner but some use it every week with no problems. Anyway it leaves my hair ridiculously soft even when I have stubborn new growth, I HIGHLY recommend it! :D

I second that. My hair hated Aphogee but loved Motions CPR. My hair always feels very strong, but soft and healthy. For me I use it once a month and I also use ORS Hair mayo once a month.

Your hair is gorg!
- Aubrey Organics GPB (very light protein)
- Avalon Organics Conditioner Biotin B-Complex, Thickening

I second that AO GPB, it's very light and can be used once a week. Another light protein would be Hairveda Condition Pro.

Nice hair. As another poster suggested , Chicora's Fotki or her book"Grow It"
A good protein to try is Joico deep penetrating reconstructor.
