Hello everyone,

On my hair journey, I am trying to obtain the length an thickness that I used to have. My hair used to by APL. In 2008 I started wearing weaves and it really damage and broke off my hair. My hair was neck length, I have been on my hair journey since Nov 2009 and has gained about 4 in of growth but my hair is thin, it never was before. What can I use to help with the thickeness, I rather have thick hair then long and thin. Thanks for your help.

Are you relaxed? I'm using JBCO and stretching my relaxers to try and get to my ultimate hair fullness cause I know I will probably never have really thick hair due to genetics.

I think you'll really see a difference in the thickness of your hair as all the new healthy hair that was never damaged by the weaves continues to grow. Hang in there :), a gentle hair care routine and time will give you thicker density.

I am relaxed. I have never stretched my relaxer, but I have started. My first stretch was for 8 weeks, this time I am going for 12 weeks. It is frustrating because for the last 15 years I have had long, thick healthy hair. I have never used a lot of heat or do a lot of things to my hair, until 2008 when I was experiencing with hairdos for my wedding. Hugh mistake. My hair is coming along slowly. I am scared that the thickness will not return.
