Ok so this is random but I felt someone would appreciate this discovery I made.So Ive been looking for a product that would help me achieve a more wavy look on my 3c relaxed hair.I dislike braids outs(to much work and detangling) and Im not a fan of drenching my hair in chemicals.Well yesterday I applied my coconut milk for my prepoo and because I was to busy to wash my hair it air dryed. My hair was wavy, natural and very shiny.I'm thinking of washing it and rocking it like this all week. Its natural and good for your hair.I'm not sure how it will affect the hair long term being a leave in but I'll post if I see any changes..so far my hair is pretty happy.

I loooooooooooooooooove DCing with coconut milk. That's the liquid I use when I do my treatment with Anita Grant's Rhassoul Clay Cubes.

I would proceed with caution too OP as another member posted. Good luck with experimenting.
ShyIntellect how often do you do your anita grant? I have at least 4 boxes of the cubes, and a heart, but i am so lazy to go through all of the work (preparing, cleaning, applying, and more cleaning). The last one i did was in february. Been wanting to do one every month, but the convenience of readily available conditioner always wins. I was wondering how long i can wait between treatment and still benefit from it. TIA.

Funny! The Micronesian's use fresh coconut milk as a leave in. The only thing is they grate the coconut and squeeze the juice from the flesh. I've been using that method (but with sprouted coconuts) and my hair loves it. I can refrigerate it for a few days but I usually make it as I need it because it does go rancid fast!
