The use of hot curlers

A few days ago I used. But prior to that I made an effort not to use. So I guess my answer is not to...unless absolutely necessary. Although a ceramic flat iron is on my birthday list. A good alternative is caruso steam rollers.

Thanks for the comeback, I also use a ceramic flat iron. the hot curler I'm talking about are the ones that sit on a metal plate with little prongs that the curlers sit on. The curlers have metal on the inside that heat up the rollers. Will the steam iron dry out my hair or make it kink up? I do have a relaxer in. I was transitioning but changed my mind.

I love rollers and have been using them for years without any negative effects. My favorite is the Conair Instant Heat Hairsetter. It only takes two minutes to heat up. I leave them in for only about 5 minutes just to give my hair some extra body so the whole thing takes under 10 minutes. I dont do it everyday... just when I want a different look. HTH -Ashley
