The Thought of combing it just straight up scary!!

I have been to scared to comb out my natural hair for a while now ... but I think the time has come were I need to face my fears

... any suggestions on combing out hair CAREFULLY without breakage.. cause lord no I hate me some breakage!!

did you see the thread about the k cutter?...also always comb with conditioner or moisturizer in your hair. what about the denman brush?

comb ends first holding your roots with a pick while damp with detangler or leave-in. sta-sof-fro is widely available comb out spray that works but it's sticky cuz it's made with glycerine.

you can also try using the denman d3 brush. it is a very thorough effective detangling brush but be careful to use it in moderation. don't use it everyday or anything.

A good investment would be a K-cutter or a seemless or Bone comb, to comb your hair start from the ends GENTLY and work your way up GENTLY...it takes time. You might want to spray on a detangler prior to combing but if your tight on cash as I always am, then put some essential oils in your hair, this should help. By the Way separate your hair into 4 to 5 sections and detangle each section. GOod luck.

Use a wide tooth comb to detangle your hair from the ends to the root while it's sopping wet with water and conditioner.
