I drank two glasses of Sangria at a Christmas party on 12/16/11. My limit is one. I was feeling pretty "happy" when I got home. My hair was in a high bun made of six twists. When I took the bun down, I got aggravated that the end of each twist was so thin. Not thinking straight, I grabbed some scissors and cut approx. 3in off each twist. I slapped on my satin cap and went to sleep.
The day after, while feeling "back to normal", I examined my hair. The back and sides of my hair were longer than the top! There was no way I could continue my transition with such a hideous trim
With DH's blessing, I cut the rest of my hair, an additional 8 inches!
I started in the back so that I wouldn't back out of my decision:
Yes I had on my great aunt's bathrobe
I meant to post sooner but I just didn't have the time. It has been a trying adjustment with the dryness and trying out new styles. I have really had problems with the different textures. However, I have no regrets. I had planned to transition for 24 months. My total transition time was 16 months and 21 days. Not the greatest at pics on my phone and I apologize for the sizing.
