The Pibbs Experiment feat. Starian

Hello ladies

I had the pleasure of hosting a special guest in my home this weekend. Starian stayed with me and attended our meeting Saturday.

She was feeling brave and allowed me to relax, color, and roll her hair
She has also consisted to me posting pics. The whole process took 4 hours.

I relaxed with Silk Elements lye (regular)

Colored with Dominican olive oil-based Color Showers in Gold. This product does NOT contain ammonia or peroxide. After application I sat her under the Pibbs for 15mins and then left it on another 30 mins per bottle instructions.

After I relaxed and colored, I used Macherieamour's method to roll her hair.

I forgot to add that ALL of her hair was completely dry in 45 minutes She says it usually takes 90 minutes!!

But how did her hair dry so fast. Those aren't even the biggest rollers that you can use. Only when I use grey and black rollers does my hair dries in under an hour. Good job.

I dried her hair under a Pibbs 514. I bought it on Ebay after the great reiews from ladies on here. This stand alone dryer has a large blower that circulates all the air INSIDE the dome. You dont even feel air on your shoulders. I attribute the increased airflow to shorter dry time.

My hair usually takes an hour to dry and this marvel does it in 30mins without fail!

You got a nifty set of hands there girlie! Looks like she came straight from a salon. Pretty!!! Great job lady. BTW I love JenniferMD she's such a sweetheart and I'm her #1 hair fan , I'm a stalker of her hair album. But her customer service skills are unmatched.
