The lady who\'s always doing something w/ her hair!

I just realized that the silky locs is the fifth major style I have had this year so far. One of the guys in radiology pointed that out to me when he saw me last night. As soon as I walked into the room, he was like "Hey! Love the new hair! Can't wait to see the next style. Keep them coming!" I didn't even notice I had changed my style so much but it was flattering that people notice. Does anyone else have a hair reputation at their job?

Re: The lady who\'s always doing something w/ her hair!

I'm sure I have one, but mine would be as the girl who NEVER changes her style. Some people here have never seen my hair a different way, and I've worked here for four years

Now my sister, I know that she has to have one for changing. She goes from two toned ponytails, to braids, to weaves, to wigs, to her real hair, all w/n the same month.

Re: The lady who\'s always doing something w/ her hair!

My white coworkers often comment on my changing styles. I'm not as bad as I use to be. I just get bored with my look sometimes. I am always changing it.

I have the same kind of reputation. I wear fros, twist-outs, braids, cornrows, micros. Not to mention all of the times that I have changed my hair color. My boses are always complementing me on my new hair styles.

I am just not adventurous with my hair. I do not like it being handled in so many different ways and styles. I wear it in a doobie or a ponytail...I just focus on keeping it healthy. Oh well....

<font color="blue">Yep my coworker's say the same thing i.e "You're always changing your hair! Wow..". Because of my addiction to all-things hair-related they call me the Hair Lady and constantly tease me about how I spend all my time on hair boards (which is why I have to lie now abt what I do when I'm on the net Lol

).

Most times I find it flattering depending on who it comes from; some people comment as if to reproach me like, why can't you stick with one style?

Re: The lady who\'s always doing something w/ her hair!

I def have a hair rep...LOL. I even bought a wig last weekend to add to my everchanging styles!! And guess what???...3 women, (AA, caucasion and mexican) came to work with wigs on today...LOL. They thanked me, believe it or not!

I'm sorry after day 2 of a style, I am bored!!! I love to change my hair, which is why I never grew it before. I would get to about where it is now and cut it, so this time I bought the wig in the color and style that I wanted...cant fall off the bandwagon again...LOL

Re: The lady who\'s always doing something w/ her hair!

Back in the relaxer days, a guy at work said "I just can't keep up woth your hair!" One time all I ever did was have it ina chignon, but at that time I had cut it shorter by 3 inches or so every 3 weeks until I had a Halle Berry style crop! Highlights, braids when I began to transition and then a variety of cornrow styles.

Now it's twists most of the time. I change my style but not as often as back in da day

Re: The lady who\'s always doing something w/ her hair!

Some girls on my floor handed out little funny awards and mine was the "I have a new hairstyle everday" award. I don't really have a new one everyday but you know how people exagerate. I always get compliments whether it's two-strand twists or a press and curl.

well you must be doing something right cuz your hair is beautiful!

Re: The lady who\'s always doing something w/ her hair!

INeedMoney, silky locs is when they braid your hair and then wrap it with hair so it looks like dreads. I just found a picture of my style last night. I will post it when I get home.
