Ladies -
I know some of you can undestand where I'm coming from. Tonight, I took out my braids that have been in for three weeks. I'll be rebraided at the end of the week (C&G). The very intense and extreme joy of being able to scratch my scalp is indescribable. I am almost weak with the thrill of a full wash and condition.
This is a silly post, I know, but I had to say it to those who might understand.
On a good note (other than scratching joy) I've got another 1/2 inch. This is so very cool. I am so torn about C&G mostly because I am do darn tired of braids, but I am going to continue for now. Given that I have not combed or brushed for three weeks, the amount of hair that shed was amazingly little and my ends are not breaking at all (I was worried), and my hair line looks good.
Now if I could only figure out how to keep that blinking scarf on my head at night, all would be well. No matter what I do, it ends up in bed with me in the morning. Scarf and bonnet - two bed companions. So far, the only thing that works is to tie it so tightly, I get an indentation and a huge headache.
Any scarf suggestions? I'm thinking silk sheets
