Too bad I saw the original tutorial videos B4 she deleted them and made my own!!!!! hahahahaha! she has gone mad with those prices!

I do wish her best of luck! because the idea is genius... I know using the "quickweave" system has made protective styling a breeze for me! all the benefits of a weave and none of the fuss of take down. I made one with BoBraz hair... and I intend to make a straight one in the near future

Well, we are in a recession, so why not make a quick buck while you've got the chance :lol:. That said, I've seen her videos and her quick weave system looks good, I wish her luck and I may try it some day :yep:

Ppg can you share the quick version of this method? Ty
@My Friend

Essentially, I purchased a mesh weave/wig cap. I sewed my hair into beehive and left out my normal U-shaped part. I placed the cap over my head and began to sew in the same manner I would my usual install. I was initially lazy with the sewing using single stitches just to get the track to lay where I needed it. I used a foam head manequin as a stand-in to actually sew down each row. I took a load off of my arms!

for the U-part I sewed the the hair around on the mesh cap to align with the part I created. I made sure to really reinforce the stitches around the U. and I then cut out the remaining mesh. I sealed the mesh with dritz fray check. I also sealed my weave hair with dritz

In the opening of the U-part I used the clear fishing line to bridge the gap created by cutting the part out. The fishing line lies flush with your scalp and make for easy application and removal. and is pretty much undetectable.

I only have one pic of this on my phone (it is a little dark) but you can compare it to a pic of a sew-in with the same boh braz and it virtually looks the same.

Quick Weave

VS. the sew in
I love it. I can remove it in a matter of minutes like a wig... but having the leave out hair creates a more realistic look IMO.

ETA the instal comparison pics are up....I know the quaility aint all that... they are random pics I hadnt taken them specifically for LHCF.....I will try to get a pic of the quickweave separately so you can see what I mean about the part and fishing line etc.... I hope I can put it in the same post, but my blackberry can be temperamental at times...Thanks in advance for understanding :grin:

I ran into BB issues so I just created a separate thread about the quickweave

ppg- That looks GREAT on you.

As far as Island Beauty- I can't blame her for trying to make a dollar.

I was wondering why she removed the videos...but I guess it made sense since she was planning on turning it into a hustle.

It really didn't look that hard to make the quick weaves. I bet I could do that and sell them for cheaper. Hmm....lol
