I haven't been to DR but I have been to several places near there. This is so the idea that you get when you go. I went with my hair straighten too (for the first few days).

Those guys were serious about hair. Didn't think it mattered as much as is does to some I guess.

BTW this reminded me of how I never have to speak Spanish anymore. I had to translate as I listened. Need to start watching more Spanish TV or something.

They mention a website www.gonaturalcaribe.com--the other is a dead link. Both this video and site are in Spanish. But there are sites out there and more slowly emerging just like this LHCF coming out directly from the DR geared towards natural hair care.

Actually in the I didn't see any weaves in the movie, but they did put heavy emphasis on what is considered "good" and "bad" hair.
