Hi everyone
I don't usually post that much but I know that many women have had problems with the Denman. I'm not sure if anyone has already post this here but I also lurk on other websites and a read a topic about removing every other row of the brush so that way it would be easier on your hair and cause less damage.
here's a link

It might now work for everyone :ohwell: but hey you never know. Tell me what you think and I hope it helps someone.

I'll also be psoting on whether or not its a keeper for me

Have you tried this method yet? I have a Denman hanging around lol but I never use it:ohwell: I will try the method if it doesn't take too long to remove the bristles. Thanks

yea, someone posted that method a little while back (not the actual youtube you posted). I did this with my Goody Denman knock-off, and it's been great. It does make me feel better to think that it may be slightly gentler on my hair.

I read that some where on here and I did that w/ my fake denman and it helps. I lose way less hair now.

I actually just finished taking down my seneglese twist and since it's so late.I'm atcually going to try this in the morning. I'll tell everyone how it went for me in the morning.

ok so i tried it and honestly. I see a difference. It's easier on my my hair (4a/b). If there was a possibility of the teeth themselves to be a bit wider then we would be in business. But I think its worth a try for anyone who was not satisfied on thier first try. The brush went through my hair better and I also lost fewer hairs. I'll keep my brush this ways and see how it holds up :drunk:

Hope it helped some

i bought a larger version of the denman (D5) and the extra space between the bristles help a great deal! I can use it and lose just a tad bit of hair :)
