Is this a hair or body product?
This is a hair product. On the jar it recommends using as a pre poo but I wanted to try it as a regular conditioner instead or even try mixing it with something else like GPB or So Sexy. I was hoping to hear if someone else has tried it this way.

I haven't purchased yet, but I've been eyeing it in the store for quite awhile now.
Once I use it I will be sure to post a review. So far my only observation is the smell is great and the consistancy is pretty creamy like motions moisture-plus

When I worked there (back in the 90's) I used to use their hair products. I don't remember why I stopped..but I remember using the Brazillian nut shampoo and conditioner, and I liked it.

The more I think about it before I go mixing it with other stuff, I think I will use it alone to get a more accurate ideal of how it works by itself.
The directions say use it on wet hair as a pre poo so I think I will clarify first then use it. I will leave it on for a couple of hours and then proceed with my regular routine. I will do this over the weekend and report back with my results if anyones interested

I've used this product this past summer. I mixed the mask with a bit of olive oil, though. I used to put my hair in a pony tail, wet the entire length of the pony tail and then slather on the mask. Then, I'd make a bun and cover it with a plastic cap. I'd sleep in the mask and then shampoo in the morning. I found it to be pretty moisturizing. I'd actually forgotten about it, but now that you've mentioned it, I am going to use it again! BTW, I have thick, 4A hair.

Thanks for responding. Prior to using this were you experiencing any breakage or dryness that this help correct.

My ends were dry because I am hard headed: I like wearing my hair down everyday. It quenched my thirsty ends.

This just came in the mail yesterday. I will be trying it this weekend and post my review after.

Like you I like wearing my hair down most days. I take extra precautions to protect & moisturize my ends. This sounds perfect to help keep my ends on point

I used this a few years back. I let it sit in my hair while it was twisted in 4 big buns for 2-3 hours. I sat under the dryer with it for an hour and then just let it sit the rest of the time. I was really impressed with it. It came out very shiny, soft and conditioned. I stopped using it only because it was hard to find after awhile. But after this post the hunt may be on again.....

I've used it. I would describe it as a protein pre-poo. I wet my hair a little then applied it and kept it on for 1 hour. When I rinsed it out my hair was a little hard but I pooed with cream of nature (green) and deep conditioned with nexxus humectress and my hair felt stronger. The scent is great and now that you've mentioned it I have to use it again, I haven't used it in a while and still have a jar and a half that I forgot about. Overall its pretty good but I probably won't repurchase, too expensive for such a small jar. I have relaxed 4a fine to medium hair. I would recommend using moisturizing poo & conditioner after rinsing it out, nothing with protein.

It's my signature hairproduct! Love it love it love it! I use it as a pre poo and leave it overnight, I use it once a week. It makes your hair so soft, you won't believe it. Go for it;-)

I've tried it before, but I didn't find it to be all that. It was okay, I guess. I ended up returning it though.

Does this contain protein? Do you think I can clarify, apply Brazil Nut mask, shampoo then deep condition. If this is considered protein it might be a replacement for my GPB, im not liking this :sekret:

I don't think it does but I'm not sure, I use a protein mask aside, but I'm gonna go read the ingredients ;-) to be sure.

Has anyone used this before. If so please share your experience.

I use it while my hair is twisted, than I cover it with a plastic cap and I leave it for about 2 or 3 hours and than I rinse it and wash my hair. My hair was softer when I used it, I really like it and I recommend it to others. By the way my hair type is 4b.
