I'm super sorry if this has already been discuss..but it seems everyday I read about new products so I figured we can do a revised list!..I'm transitioning and I don't think I should wait for my BC to start using natural products. So I hope you all can help me out..because I have no clue. OH and feel free to list some of your natural recipes..thanks!:drunk:

For me it's Qhemet Biologics’s Olive & Honey Hydrating Balm & Qhemet Biologics’s Burdock Root Butter Cream; The moisturising combination of the Qhemet Biologics product’s works wonderfully for my hair; it feel’s soo soft and hydrated all day :cloud9:

This sounds like it will be a good thread. I am not natural but I would like to try natural products and use them on my dd who is natural.

I would sell my left kidney
for Afroveda products.

I heart all of her butters *Shea alma and Cocolatte the most
Definitely check that product line out.

There are a lot of all natural hair lines and everyone is going to have a different opinion of what they like best. But for me its Darcy botanicals and Bee mine products.

With Darcys everything smells so nice and just feels good in my hair. I dont like oils and butters so Darcys Daily leave in is perfect for my hair. Really thats all i need to keep my hair soft and moisturized. I dont need to seal with oils and butters. I also like the Kalahari Melon seed Nectar oil from Darcys. I have used it in my hair before and it actualyl didnt dry my hair as bad as most oils and butters, but i mostly put it on my skin. However my mom puts it in her hair and her hair is staying softer than it was before. Darcys Tacuma butter moisture whip is very nice too considering i dont like oils and butters. It didnt make my hair feel greasy and oily and it smells like delicious carmel rolls:)

Qhemets Burdock root butter cream works wonderful for softening hard dry hair. A little too greasy for me, but not as bad as many other products out there. I also like the Kakardy tea spray from Qhemet. It doesnt have any oils in it at all, but i like the conditoning spray from Darcys better. The one from Darcys also does not have any oils it . I hated her shampoo (Egyptian wheat grass cleansing tea). It is SOOOO drying and it tangles my hair. I also didnt like her cocoa tree detangling ghee. It doesnt even have any ghee in it and it really does nothing for my hair. I think its kinda pointless and the smell makes me wanna puke. It smells like unsweetened chocolate. Hated it.

Then i discovered the Bee mine line. Most people just use the growth serum - which REALLY does work - , but i have now used her shampoo and balancing conditioner. Let me tell you... Since the begining of my hair journey i have been a product junkie and have tried every line out there and almost every product that suits my needs and i have never actually used a shampoo - sulfate free or not- that has left my hair soft and buttery. I love it and will neve use another shampoo ever again. And it smells so good. Im big on smells ( i have a nose like tucan sam), so that is very important to me. Like a lot of people rave about Oyins handmade honey hemp conditoenr and i hate it because i dont like the smell. Anyways when i first put this Bee mine shampoo in my hair, i thought i had accidently grabbed the condtioner. Even co washing with conditioner has not left my hair so soft. The condtioner from bee mine is so nice as well, i feel like i should be using it as a deep conditioner but i dont because its too thin. Still it works nice and leaves my hair so soft. I also use her hair and scalp moisterizer which is just a bunch of butters. I use it very sparingly because like i said, i dont like oils and butters. But this stuff is still nice, smells great and i use all the time because it really does leave my hair soft.

Jessicurl weekly deep treatment is the best deep condtioner hands down in my book. I buy it by the gallon because i dont ever want to run out. Its all natural ingrediants and very affordable in comparrison to a lot of the other natural hairlines out there. Its better than the deep condtioners from hairveda, Dacys, Curl Junkie and Shescentit (i hate Shescentit products. What a waste and i have had softer hair from co washing with vo5 than i had with her BB deep condtioner. The rest of her products are craptacular too. WAY too much protein in almost everything in her line. I think her product work better for people with permed hair as they need all that extra protein). It also defines my curls. It looks like i have a jeri curl everytime i rinse it out. Some people use it as a leave in, but i think its too heavy for that.

Thats my two cents.

I definitely need to be in this thread! I've been transitioning for 7 months and my hair hasn't made any progress. I must admit, I haven't been taking care of my hair like I should. That's one of my resolutions for the new year. Please keep the suggestions going!

Natural products are like heaven on my hair.

I'm absolutely in love with Afroveda. Those moisturizers last for hours on my hair.

I also love mixing honey and coconut cream with a DC. Especially my ng loves this, the frizzy mass starts clumping together, all moist and happy. I could stop being a pj right here.. but.. :look:

My greatest find this year is www.iherb.com. I was soo jealous of all you LHCF ladies in the states that could find all those natural hair products, while I would have to pay $40 shipping at least to get the same (I buy my Afroveda locally for ridiculously high prices). Not anymore . They have super low international shipping rates and what I think are unbelievably low prices. I'm was so happy when I found out I ordered a stash of Aubrey Organics, Jason Natural, Giovanni, Avalon and Nature's Gate conditioners. Got some chlorella too! :drunk:

I highly recommend this for our European/international members.

The absolute best natural products for me are Komaza. I really love EVERYTHING they make, I love their customer service, and I like the integrity of their brand. I can't recommend them highly enough...Komaza products make my hair healthy and happy. The stand-out products for me are the Califia Moisture Cream, Califia Moisture Spray, Shea Butter lotion, and Califia Leave-in conditioner.

I also like the ayurvedic-based products from Afroveda. The Miss Bhree moisturizing lotion, Hibiscus Hair Oil, and Neem+3 Triphala co-wash conditioner are staples for me.

I love natural products and ingredients and they are the only things I use for my hair and skin. The only commercial products I normally buy are Aubrey organics conditioners :
- AO Honeysuckle rose (I mix with molasses, JBCO & honey for a light protein pre-poo treatment)
- AO GBP (I mix with JBCO & honey for a normal protein pre-poo treatment)
- AO White camellia (Deep conditioner and for co-washing)
- Blue green algae hair rescue mask (mixed with organic VCO for a hardcore protein treatment twice a year)
Bentonite clay - I use this to clarify every 2 to 3 months
Organic virgin coconut oil - I use this to prepoo overnight and love it for my skin also.
Raw honey - use in my protein pre-poo treatments
Organic blackstrap molasses - use in my protein pre-poo treatments
Jamaican black castor oil - I use this in my protein pre-poo treatments
Shampoo: black soap (use this from head to toe) Aubrey organics white camellia is lovely also as it does not strip
Rosewater
Organic apple cider vinegar
Oils: Organic jojoba oil, organic extra virgin olive oil and more
Organic essential oils: lavender, ylang ylang, peppermint & tea tree

I just treated myself earlier this month to some Anita Grant samples as her products are very good also.

Afroveda: Curly Custard, all of the butters, and PUR Whipped Gelly

Donna Marie: Lock & Twist Pudding, Miracurl Curling Gelly, Cocoa Hemp Hair Buttermilk

Giovanni: Giovanni Direct Leave-In

Aubrey Organics: Honeysuckle Rose, Island Naturals, and GPB

Castor oil is also the best product ever
