y'all know what i'm talking about...curly pudding! my daughter and i have very curly hair that shrinks at least 40-50% when dry. i've searched everywhere and tried a bunch of stuff to weigh our curls down. i finally caved in and bought curly pudding. i'm still experimenting with the amount to use, but so far it is great. i've been in twists all week so i haven't tried it on my hair, but her hair is looking awesome. there is still some shrinkage, but the puffiness is gone and her curls stay soft and defined all day. i'm tempted to try the buttercreme now. i think i'll wait until my tax refund gets here first, though. LOL 3c's, if you're still looking for something that will weigh your curls down, this is it.

Does it really help ALOT with the shrinkage ya think?? I've been so tempted to try it..but I keep changing my mind..

I don't know if u r interested, but I found a few cheaper cp recipes- one was mix citre shines wave booster- $3.99 and PM sculpting lotion $8 . The other was beyond the zone noodle head $5 and tressemme curl care $4. U can also mix any one prod. w/ EQ mango butter. These have all worked for my texturized style. I tried the EQ feels like silk, but this prod was too sticky. I have to figure out what to mix it with for max. curl def. So far, citreshine+ PM lotion is the best curl def. product for me. Hope all goes well w/ the cp. This prod is too expensive for me.

See, Swirl, why'd you have to do that? But I'm still going to hold off until I cut off all my texturized hair before I decide if I'm going to try it. I already can tell that I'm going to have some hellified shrinkage.

Yeah I too wonder if the shrinkage reduction is that big a deal and, if it is, is it due to the product or using certain techniques (i.e. stretching the hair and diffuser drying it, etc.).......I'd love to hear more!
