Ummm okay I dont' think so but the shampoos may be nice. I dont' think anything can change genetics. Or how your hair grows out of your scalp.

Maybe except Chemo

I believe it not sure it would work on my hair it may work on their bone straight tresses but not mine. I have friends in Japan that have afros yes afros its a product they use to make their hair curl/kink up the opposite of BKT...so yes I believe their is truth to it.

MSM changes the texture of the NG it actually grows in softner not sure why but it does.

I agree that MSM does change the texture of your hair. It did for me. Even the hair on my legs changed in texture. However, after living with my Chinese best friend for years I agree their hair is thicker, but I'm not sure if hair products will change genetics. However, I will ask his mom about it because she is always up on the haircare stuff from Asia so if it actually works she or his aunts will know all about it.

The secret to their hair being the way it is is genetics plain and simple, there is no shampoo conditioner or DC that will alter the anatomy of your hair strand in that way.

They have their kind of hair and we have ours....I think its better if we focus on success stories within our own hair type:yep:

I don't think it actually grows in softer it is just using the products on the hair that is already there.

Does it change 4C to 1A I don't know I am just asking

Thats more than likely just a strong curly perm.

blah! That's sponsored content which mean's it's an ad that they paid for. It's just the typical advertisement that all hair product companies do. No different than seeing a Dark n lovely commercial with a black chick with long thick hair (which is probably just flatironed natural hair) but the commercial hints that if u use this product, your hair too can be MBL and thick.....

Yaaaaahhh, okay, ladies I knew yaw'll would know. Far as I'm concerned I'm done with this topic. I may be a product junkie, but at least I ain't a product dummy, LOL.

More like 4c/b to 4a the curl pattern is def looser I wasn't sure what was going on then i read up on a lot of ladies hair texture growing in looser and softer from optiMSM. Once I finish I won't buy it again because I am unsure how my NG is going to react once i stop taking it :ohwell:

Their secret is certainly not a product line.

Mizani Mrs is right, I think every single hair commercial is a LIE!! Like pantene I never seen a women with such thick lush hair in my LIFE. You know the commercial is fooling you if the lady in the same shot hair magically change before your eyes.c

I'm with Almaz on this. I think MSM will change your hair texture if your hair was lacking sulfur/sulphur and therefore was not its healthiest or "normal". The only thing MSM ever did for me was make my nails hard. My hair texture doesn't change if I take MSM or not.

My hair used to be hard when I used a lot of products. Since I stopped, my hair seems to have become more normal and it is that soft cotton texture people talk about. It used to feel rough but not anymore. It doesn't shine or look glossy, but it's softer than some of the hair that looks shiny and glossy. It stays that way whether I'm having MSM or not...and the coils remain the same size. I will occasionally add MSM to my regimen if trying to grow my nails or if I just want to boost my immunity. I would never use it if it changed my texture. It doesn't which is why you may see me adding it to orange juice especially if there's some virus going around.

I take MSM, and have taken it for many years (off & on). It DID change my hair texture, making it a lot softer.

***Several Asian women I used to work with (from Korea, Phillipines, Japan, Thailand) said the secret to beautiful, healthy hair in their countries is to eat a lot of fish and seaweed (naturally, those foods are inherent to their daily diets). They put me onto the seaweed hard (I'd buy it dried in tiny paper-like sheets). It keeps very well...you get a lot for your money, and I froze the extra in Zip-lock bags until later.

They would bring it to work, after they'd lightly salted and roasted it in the oven. I ate mine lightly salted straight from the package. Once you get used to the taste, its a great snack. And, my hair was quite nice during that time, but then again I can't say it was only seaweed b/c I was experimenting with a lot of foods, vitamins, and hair care products. The seaweed may be an option for ladies who don't like taking straight chlorella or chlorophyll supplements, as seaweed has similar nutritive benefits.
