Well for some of us it does or did cook our scalp whether we put it on our scalp or not. Many of us are too familiar with scalp burns. I don't know the context that she said it but some of us can relate. Nothing wrong with relaxers if you can handle them.

I REEEEEAAALLY wish people would lay off relaxers. I don't see people ragging on hot tools or colour the way they do when it comes to relaxers.
