Thanks LHCF! Today my curls fell & my hair still looks cute!

Ladies, I am FINALLY starting to see steady progress!! The past month has been so great thanks to the help of this board. I have been here so long and NEVER really saw progress.

I used to ALWAYS be forced to have my hair done for it to look good. Keeping it pressed and curled, although not showing my true length, prevented my thinner ends from showing.

Today, I was walking all through downtown L.A., Hollywood, and Melrose. After hours of this, I started to get really hot and my head started to sweat. I was like in my head. I knew I was going to look bad when I got back to the hotel and be forced to use heat on my hair to get a quick fix for evening activites.

Well, I just checked in the mirror and was like

My hair looks fine!!! NO THIN ENDS EITHER!!!

And I DON'T have to use heat tonight!!!

Actually my hair looks better because the true length is showing. I can actually claim Shoulder length by the looks of my hair right now. And my texlaxed roots have reverted!! I bet it would look even longer if it was straighted all the way.

I think I have been hiding my own length progress from myself by keeping it curled by rollersets all the time!

Thanks again ladies (I just can't thank you enough)! I am going to be swinging my hair tonight - let me go pick out my dress!

Thats great HoneyDew. I have learned to accept that I will get to my goals in my own time. I actually think putting myself on a tight scheldule made it harder for me to progress.
