So I subscribed yesterday after hovering on the boards and reaping the benefits of what everyone has posted about there hair regimen. I had always gone to the salon (every 2 weeks) but once I got to college I found it hard to keep up with my hair, and I found most of my hair in the sink and the shower drain. So the majority of my college years have been spent with sew ins because I lack the knowledge to make my hair healthy and shiny the way it was when I lived at home with my parents. So early this morning I decided to wash my hair with some of the techniques I found on the board, and I finally found out why my hair has always been dry and brittle after I wash it!!! LEAVE IN CONDITIONER!!! I know its sad, but I had no clue that was lacking from my hair... I also made a mixture of water/carols daughter oil/ and chi silk infusion that I sprayed on my hair... but I have never had my hair come out this moisturized and soft without being greasy!!! So I decided to cough up the 6.50 and join in! But to all of those who I have been quietly stalking on the LHCF these past few weeks thank you for helping me without even realizing it!!!

okay so I was pondering... what is a good moisturizer to put in your hair daily>>? I have 4b hair that is relaxed and I want a conditioner/moisturizer that wont weigh my hair down, but that I can put on my hair before wrapping at night so that my hair stays moisturized???

anyways, thanks again, and I'm looking forward to learning more about hair care and getting to know each of you!!

:welcome:

There are so many leave ins,
some popular ones are
ntm silk touch leave in
herbal essences long term relationship leave in
giovanni direct leave in

I personally like trader joes nourish spa conditioner as a leave in

:welcome3: :newbie: I'm not relaxed but I've heard Tiffers and some others rave about hawaiian silky 14 in one :yep: It's in a spray bottle but "sprays" out into a cream.

I;ve been using Aveda's Universal Styling Cream as a leave-in/daily moisturizer. Really like it. Keeps hair moisturized and even though my hair is really fine, it doesnt weigh it down

You could look into that or for a cheaper alternative, Herbal Essence Long Term leave in

Good luck!

I would say Ntm Silk touch leave in, Paul Mitchell the conditioner or Garnier sleek N shine leave in.
Most important thing is dont forget to seal in the moisturizer.
I personally use Paul Mitchell everyday I Love him!!

I really LOVE the Neutrogena Triple Moisture Leave In and the smell! I learned about here and I thank my LHCF ladies, every day.

Welcome! NTM Silk Touch is really good, but my new favorite is Rusk Calm leave-in detangler. It's thick like lotion and moisturizes so well. I use it on both me and my daughter (she's natural).

Please don't fell bad! I was the same way, only difference I never had a weave because my scalp is already itchy on its own and I can't afford to be in a weave all year round. I too got caught up in the salon girl mentality it wasn't until I was 20 before broke out of it, how sad for me!

I have a lot of leave in (sadly).. and honestly let me say this.... Just put down the keyboard and head to the nearest store and pick up some Herbal Essence Long Term relationship leave in.

I also use HE Long Term relationship as a moisturizer, but that may be to heavy for some? IDK .. have to make sure I use very little

Welcome aboard!!!:yep:

I'm a natural, but I use the Jane Carter Solution Revitalizing Leave-In and the Jane Carter Solution Hair Nourishing Cream.

I just wanted to thanks everybody for the answers!!! I have a long shopping list Im going to have to make to get my hair to grow! we need a fundraiser or something, lol! ... THANKS AGAIN!!!

I have the Aveda USC, I really like it but I find I can't use it as a moisturising product, I need to moisturise then add a dab of USC as like a finishing product. I love it though, it gives great shine and really keeps the hair smooth. It's interesting the way we use things differently.. :scratchch

Re the OP I love NTM as a moisturiser.
