what exactly is a texturizer? how often do u touch up? what is the end result? any other comments about texturizing welcome. thanx

A texturizer is a mild relaxer, designed to still leave some curl (ie texture) in the hair.
You touch up just like a relaxer.
The end result depends on what your hair is like to start. If you don't have curly hair to begin with, generally a texturizer will not give you curls.
Some people texturize to reduce shrinkage or their natural hair's thickness.
