Thanks 4 our nail *****!
...do a retouch?

I always see stuff about stretching your relaxers but how do you do this with a wash and go?
Is it better not to stretch because of the difference in texture?
My hair has lost its mind and there is no way I am going to mess with my new growth but I got a inch this month! I don't know how, I wish I did, but I think its just cause its summer and the daily washing. I texlaxed around the 15th of last month and even did a post about it and somehow I have inch in some places and a half inch in others already! Don't get me wrong I am not complaining! I just don't want to lose a single strand! I am worried the difference in textures will start to cause breakage, but how can I fix the texture difference and still wear and wash and go style? Its not a problem now but I am trying to be super prepared for anything because I have never been texlaxed before.
I have put all my plans for my hair on hold for now and I am just going to keep doing the same thing because I don't want the growth to stop unless you ladies tell me otherwise.
Here are some pics and TIA! :)

Bumping for you. I do not have a texlax, but I would just keep moisturizing your whole hair, make sure the two textures are well moisturized and sealed with oil.
How often do you do your WnG?

I texlax and I can stretch my perms from 6 months to a year. The reason why is because my texlax texture is not that different from my new growth so I don't see a big difference in the texture until I have about 3 inches of new growth. One thing that helps me is I don't comb my new growth until I detangle my hair and I always put moisturizer on my new growth and work it down to the ends of my hair with my hands. I also deep conditioning at least once a week which helps with my hair staying moisturized. I don't use direct heat often and I do alot of protective styles like updos and buns. Also when it gets hot I cowash my hair sometimes up to 3 times a week.

I wear them everyday. I leave in my condish but I only use oil as a prepooo because it make the curls too heavy.

I was shocked at the difference in textures I only left the relaxer on for a few minutes and there didn't look like much change but having the textures side by side you can totally tell. The only time I don't WnG is when I am running really late then I PS
